Despite heavy rain and coming fourth in this round of the World Championship, Toni Bou won his third successive SPEA FIM Trial World Championship.
Jeroni Fajardo achieved his first victory at World Championship level with his shock win at the Grand Prix of Andorra. With Adam Raga taking second place and Toni Bou in third, the Spanish rider was a deserved winner with two stunning laps of the mountain-based course. Bou still leads Raga by 12 points in the overall standings.
Adam Raga's victory and third place for Toni Bou keeps the battle for the World Championship going, with a deserved second place for Takahisa Fujinami.
Toni Bou made it a clean sweep in Japan, albeit in a more closely-fought second round against Takahisa Fujinami.

Over 6,000 people came to see the World’s best trial riders compete for the SPEA FIM Grand Prix of Great Britain titles and corresponding World Championship points at Armathwaite near Carlisle last weekend. Despite the variable weather forecast, this spectacular event certainly captured the imagination of thousands of visitors, from long-term followers of the sport to novices keen to make the most of the rare opportunity to see international sporting stars on their doorstep.
As many Trials fans head back from a 'Damp' Fort William thoughts now move to World Trial Action at Nord Vue next weekend at Nord Vue. Camping opens at 5.00pm on Thursday so why not make a full weekend of it? All Pre-Ordered tickets have now been despatched so it's Pay on the Day' from now on.
With practice day now only 7 days away the deadline for on-line tickets sales has now passed.
Ensure you arrive early if you are going to pay on the day as queues may develop at peak times.

Current World number eight James Dabill – Gas Gas celebrated his twenty-third birthday on the 17th of April, but knows he must wait until the Portuguese Grand Prix this coming weekend for the chance to collect the present he wants so much. Now in his fourth full season as a World Pro rider, despite showing much promise Dabill is still yet to break into that elusive top five that he so desperately craves.
With only 4 weeks remaining until the 'Lloyd Trial GP of Great Britain' rounds 4 & 5 of the FIM SPEA trials World Championship event organisers John Kerwin and Graham Jarvis are urging trials fans to plan ahead to ensure they make the most of the fantastic weekend at Nord Vue, Armathwaite, Carlisle, Cumbria.
Road Haulage Giant 'Eddie Stabart' have joined in with welcome sponsorship support for the 'Lloyd Trial GP od Great Britain' trial co-ordinator Gary Bingley is delighted to report.
It is fantastic that 'Stobart Haulage' have been able to help the event as they are probably Cumbria's best known company at present. Managing director William Stobart has pledged use of a couple 40ft trailors to be used as the main stage/ start area. In addition 'Stobart will provide use of their Enormous 27sq metre TV Monitor which will screen all the world trials action over the weekend. 'The Giant Screen is used at World Rally events, Carlisle UTD Football matches and Rock /Pop concerts. It is a superb piece of kit and allows spectators to see replays of action that they may have not seen live' said Gary.

The World Trials circus rolls into Newcastle County Down this weekend when the top trials riders and teams arrive to compete in the Adelaide GP of Ireland which marks the start of the 2009 SPEA FIM Trial World Championship.
